Liberty science center....
I chose the pictures that looked really educational b/c well this is our education blog. :) The micro scope picture looks very scholarly indeed however what your not hearing is Johanna saying, "nope nothin' in there"
The most wonderful about this membership which my parents so thoughfully gave us is that we have the luxury of time. No need to hurry to see and experience it all and get our money's worth.
On this particular visit we did not even have enough time to visit the water monitor and the poisonous frogs. Instead we lolly gagged around letting the nose in the "infection connection" exhibit sneeze on us...and by us I mean Johanna b/c Michael wasn't too sure it was a good idea to have giant nose sneeze on you. He sat in my lap but laughed heartily every time Johanna got sprayed. We stayed in "I explore" where Johanna climbed up and down the platforms and Michael painted with water and made cars. There were balls to shoot and flashlights to make shadows and when they were done we moved on.
and b/c we were able to really soak it all in we had time to reflect on what we saw. It wasn't all a blur of going in one room then the next and rushing to see or touch the next thing.
I know Johanna really took in some valuable infection information b/c when she got up this morning she announced, "I'm a germ!"
I'm not sure how much Michael took in b/c he is still "Shamu" from Seaworld.

The kids look like they really are enjoying learning. You make a wonderful teacher. I am glad that you are get a lot of use out of your Liberty Science Center membership.
I understand what Johanna means when she says "nope, nothing in there", it isn't easy to focus a microscope.
Michael is very very smart not wanting a giant nose sneeze on him. I guess he takes after his Mom.
Love ya...
