I showed Johanna and Michael a couple clips on youtube. They were both rolling with laughter at Helen's poor table manners and you just know they were rooting her on.
"Yeah Helen..no don't sit. don't listen. Hooray she wins!!"
Helen the unlikely hero to the wannabe unruly masses!!
Oh well. this still counts as learning history right?

I'm sitting here looking at the expressions on the faces of the children, and each and every one of them is so interested in what is being said and shown. The relaxed atmosphere is certainly a better way to learn as opposed to the strict silent surrounding of a classroom. I am sure at the end of the day, your children will retain so much more than any classroom taught child. Why? No pressure...learning is fun as it should be.
